Your Partner

I don't teach you how to control. I help you remember how to connect.

Every parent carries something forward, or finally puts it down. The choice is never made in the big moments. It's made in the small ones, the ones your child will remember as home.

Beyond Parenting is not a method. It is a return. A return to the parent you were always capable of being. Before the world taught you that your child's emotions were problems to be solved. Before you learned that love had to be earned. Before you decided that keeping the peace was safer than telling the truth.

At the heart of this work is a simple idea: your child's behaviour is not a problem. It is a signal. So often, a tantrum, a withdrawal, an act of defiance is a child speaking the only language available to them, the language of a need that hasn't been met.

And underneath a lot of exhausted, reactive parenting is a parent who wasn't always fully met either. Understanding that in yourself is usually where real change with your child begins.

How We Get There

Three things that make the work real.

Insight without a map is just a feeling. These three steps give the work its shape.

01

We start with what you actually value.

Using Shalom Schwartz's research-backed framework of ten basic human values (self-direction, security, achievement, benevolence, and others) and we look at your family dynamic and your parenting through that lens. Not to label you, but to see clearly which values are quietly driving your decisions, and where two things you genuinely care about might be pulling against each other without you realising it.

02

We listen for what your child is actually asking.

Every child carries the same seven core requests: home, delight, uniqueness, closeness, freedom of expression, freedom of thought, and freedom of being. We look at your child's behaviour (the compliance, the outbursts, the withdrawal) and trace it back to which of these requests isn't being met.

03

We build a strategy that's actually yours.

This isn't a script or a one-size-fits-all method. Using the clarity from steps one and two, and drawing on coaching and NLP techniques, we shape an approach that fits your specific values, your specific child, and your specific home. Not a course. A strategy built for your family.

Who I Work With

I work with two kinds of parents. Both love their kids just as much.

Stuck in the difficulty

Trying everything, the books, the podcasts, the courses, and still not knowing what's actually wrong or what to do about it.

Carrying it quietly

They've turned the difficulty inward. They quietly carry the guilt, wondering if they're the ones not doing enough.

How We Work Together

I am in it with you.

I do not stand above the difficulty and offer you a map. I sit inside it with you. In the confusion, the grief, the moments you are not proud of, the love that is so large it sometimes frightens you.

Deep Listening

Before any insight, before any reframe, I listen. Fully. Without agenda. You will feel, perhaps for the first time in this conversation, that you are not being assessed. You are being held.

Compassionate Excavation

Together we trace the roots of your patterns. Not to assign blame, but to bring light to what has been operating in the dark. Understanding dissolves what willpower cannot.

Embodied Healing

This work does not live only in the mind. We work with the body's held memories, the nervous system's learned responses, and the emotional intelligence that no book can give you.

Inspirational Leadership

The destination is not a parent who controls more skillfully. It is a parent who leads from such a grounded, loving presence that their child no longer needs to fight, flee, or surrender.

What I Bring

Not a certificate. A lived path.

  • Deep personal work in understanding the patterns we inherit and carry into parenthood
  • Years of study in child development, the inner world of the child, and the parent's own unmet needs
  • A parent who has sat inside the very questions this work asks
  • Certified Cognitive Behavioural Coach, trained in the patterns of thought that shape how we parent and how we see ourselves
  • Human Basic Values Coach, grounded in Shalom Schwartz's framework of living human priorities and how they drive our deepest parenting choices
  • Ongoing training and formation as a parenting coach

I am not here because I have all the answers. I am here because I have lived the questions, and I know how much it matters to have someone sit with you inside them.
